Anyhow, I actually am busy. I attend a 3 days courses on baking. Actually my plan was only to attend two courses for I am short on money if I want to attend the additional class. It's quite expensive for me. For I don't make that much money a month plus I only knew about the courses kinda late. So, I can't really save that much. However, I decided to just go through 3 days straight with the baking courses. *now I am officially broke. Hahaha*
The result? Am very happy with the classes and I don't regret attending any of it (even though I have to spend almost 1k for the classes. Hahaha...). The teacher was nice. The other participants were cool and friendly. All in all I am very satisfied. Guess I need to save some money to attend more class. I need to polish my skills and learn loads of things to be a good baker. Piggy bank? Where are you? I need to put some money in you. Haha..
On the first day, this is what I learned. So to speak, this is not what I actually registered for on the first hand. I chose to learn other recipes but since the other class didn't have enough participant, it has been cancelled and us? Have been moved to the morning class. I introduce you Cranberry Oreo Cheesecake and Strawberry Chocolate Indulgence
2nd class that I registered for. This is the last-minute-participation that I talked earlier. Decorating cake using buttercream and learn how to draw and make flowers etc. I have to admit this is the toughest thing to do *phew* To make it worse, I am only a beginner. The others? They're the masters man! I myself can't hold the spatula properly. Wth? Haha.. But still, I really enjoy this class. I have a really great table partner, Kak Mimi. She teach me everything that I need to know about decorating, how to make rose etc. Overall, she share many tips with me. Not a stingy person. Thanks kak. And my instructor, Kak Yanti. Great person. Patient. And superb. Yeay..
Last class, making cupcakes a la hotel.. We learned 4 types of cuppies; peanut butter, chocolate oreo ,red velvet and chocolate cheese.. All superb and delicious. Learned something about making cuppies. I never made one for I heard making cuppies is a hassle. But after attending the class, I don't think it is that hard anymore. Am very enthusiast to make some very soon.
Even though I am tired from attending all the classes but I am very happy for I gain some important knowledge during those 3 days. Didn't regret with the money spending. Thanks once again to those involved.. Hopefully I can attend more classes so I can sharpen my skills and be a good bakers. Amin. Oh ya. I have registered myself for a class on 28 and 29th of december on making bread and doughnut. How can I forget about this? Grrrr... Can't wait to play with yeast. Yippie!!
*can't wait for my next class on March. OKAY. Thats still a long way to go. Gahh.. (March, please come faster)
